Summer COVID-19 Update
Dear Camp Families,
Our thoughts are with you and your family during these challenging times.
As we prepare for Summer, our number-one priority is the safety and well-being of our campers and staff. We expect Governor Polis to release information on Summer camps very soon. Because the government’s response to COVID-19 is fluid and emerging, we have created a tentative game plan for the Summer, which will engage our campers and provide the social interactions of camp that our children crave so much today. Should we need to update this plan, we will do so immediately.
Our June Plan:
We will offer a wide variety of interactive, fun, engaging, enriching, and active online day and specialty camp programs. These daily offerings will run from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Partial-day online programs will also be available. If we are safely able to run on-campus programs in June, we will offer small-group day camps and specialty camps. These programs will engage campers in fun experiences, while we adhere to all CDC, WHO, State Licensing, and American Camp Association requirements regarding social distancing and personal hygiene to ensure a safe community. Campers who are enrolled in June camps will have priority.
Our July Plan:
We will continue to offer online options, plus small on-site group day camps and specialty programs. These will engage campers in fun experiences, while we adhere to all CDC, WHO, State Licensing, and American Camp Association requirements regarding social distancing and personal hygiene to ensure a safe community.
We look forward to the Summer and providing as much normalcy as we can for our campers. We are excited to share with you the details of our Summer programs.
Today’s kids need the camp experience more than ever, and we hope that you will be part of our community this Summer.
