Entering Pre-K (4-Years-Old)
Calling all four-year-olds for summer camp! Our Sunshine program is designed for four-year-olds. Located in a campus facility specifically designed for this age group, our youngest campers participate in activities tailored to their needs. Daily activities are designed around our weekly themes. We maximize the ‘funshine’ with daily projects, arts and crafts, splash activities and much, much more! The Sunshine Program maintains a camper-to-staff ratio of 6:1. Campers may attend a 5-day week program, registering for one week, or multiple weeks. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. $500 for 5-day week. $400 for 3-day week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday.)
Entering Kindergarten (5-Years-Old)
The Rainbow Program is designed for children who will turn five by June 5 and will be kindergartners in the fall of 2023. Located in a campus facility specifically designed for this age group, campers participate in activities tailored to their needs. Daily activities for 2023 include: adventure, arts and crafts, drama, swimming (lessons, & free swim) every day, campfire program (songs, stories, community building), group games, tennis fun, music, and more. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. $435 per week. $275 for 3-day week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday.)
Day Camp for 6-year-olds to 13-year-olds is the anchor of CA’s summer programs and is offered for eight weeks of the summer. The Day Camp program is based on good old-fashioned summertime fun!
Daily activities for 2023 include: adventure, archery, arts and crafts, swimming (lessons and free swim) every day, paddle boarding (entering grade 2+), campfire program (songs, stories, community building), group games, tennis fun, rock climbing, music, and more. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. $435 per week.
Study the three Olympic fencing weapons through drills, games, and challenges. Use our fully electric scoring equipment and regulation-sized fencing strips. Camp culminates with an in-house tournament.

Immerse yourself in an itty-bitty world with stories of our tiny giants, the invertebrates. Experience bugs like you never have before, with field trips to the Butterfly Pavilion and Chatfield Farms. This complete introduction to rock climbing, five-day camp, takes first timers or those new to rock climbing and introduces them to the wonderful sport of rock climbing. Learn to climb like a rock star by building a solid foundation of the knowledge, skills, and movement required to get into the sport. We will cover gear, belaying, rappelling, various types of movement and following lead climbers.

This camp meets Wednesday through Friday. For our youngest campers, these weeklong camps introduce sailing, water safety, and boating. This is a great introduction on how to have fun and be safe on the water. Sailing in a small and incredibly beginner-friendly, 3-person, 303 Access Dinghy Sailboat is a great way to teach the fundamentals with this age group. We understand that campers this age may not be strong swimmers so we recommend that they come having previous experience swimming with a PFD in a lake or reservoir. As long as they can kick and paddle comfortably in an intended direction while wearing a PFD, they are a good fit for this camp.

Calling all four-year-olds for summer camp! Our Sunshine program is designed for four-year-olds. Located in a campus facility specifically designed for this age group, our youngest campers participate in activities tailored to their needs. Daily activities are designed around our weekly themes. We maximize the ‘funshine’ with daily projects, arts and crafts, splash activities and much, much more! The Sunshine Program maintains a camper-to-staff ratio of 6:1. The Rainbow Program is designed for children who will turn five by June 5 and will be kindergartners in the fall of 2023. Discover your inner zoologist through up-close encounters with fascinating animals. From touching playful stingrays, to communing with butterflies, and feeding giraffes, the week will be full of hands-on encounters.

Discover wildlife and nature through outdoor exploration, drawing, painting, sculpture, poetry, and other arts. Participate in wildlife watching, catch and observe critters, practice scientific journaling, and get inspired. We'll visit places like Genesee Park, Botanic Gardens, and Audubon Center at Chatfield to explore arts, using nature as the inspiration and medium.

Knights-in-training learn to battle in the medieval style and the modern Olympic style. Make foam swords, design a personal crest and battle for the castle built upon the great Ruby Hill!

About Us
Colorado Academy Summer Programs encourage Self Discovery, so that campers can identify passions, nurture talents, and increase skills. In our Traditional Camp, campers sample athletic, creative, and waterfront activities that are engaging and fun. And our Specialty Camps allow individuals to customize their own schedules with intriguing and challenging options.
CA’s 94-acre campus in southwest Denver is the perfect stage for kids from as far as Castle Rock, Evergreen and Parker to come together to learn, laugh, and increase self-confidence. With experienced educators and caring counselors, campers receive the individual attention they need to succeed.
Optional daily transportation is available, and off-site field trips punctuate the curriculum.
Our Purpose: Building Self Confidence is our focus. We want every camper to leave our Summer Programs more aware of who they are and what they can become. We encourage individuals to step out of their comfort zones, challenge themselves, take healthy risks, revel in the experiences, and then acknowledge their accomplishments.
