The Alchemy Theater Project is a one-week camp for students Grades 6 - 9 where they will get to use theater to explore their own personal questions, curiosities and passions. The week begins with each student selecting an area of interest that they would like to learn more about: from robotics to helping animals, learning to relax or dealing with conflict, the choice is entirely up to each individual student! We will then spend the week building characters and stories around these areas of interest, including visits from virtual guest mentors. The ATP will culminate with both a group performance and an individual "expertise" presentation. A star is born! Join us for a special beginner’s introduction to music notation and song writing. Budding Mozarts will learn to read and write basic musical notation by hand. These camps offer a solid foundation in skill development, and focus on the fundamentals of shooting and dribbling. Primarily stationary ball handling, dribbling off the move, form shooting, shooting off the catch and the dribble, live ball moves. Steve Hyatt, Colorado Academy's Boys Basketball head Coach, and current CA Varsity Players will teach fundamental basketball skills.

Join Mad About Hoops for a week of circus skills, hula hoop tricks & choreography. Each day the kids will learn a new set of hoop tricks and put them into a dance. During the second half of class, kids will learn how to spin poi & juggle. On the last day, the middle schoolers will perform their new hula hoop dance routine.

Do your kids enjoy performances like Cirque Du Soleil and The Greatest Showman? Then our Hula Hooping and Carnival Arts Camp will be perfect for them. Each day, the kids will learn cool hoop tricks, play fun hula hoop inspired games and engage in partner moves. Afterwards, the kids will work on juggling and stilt walking with cups! Children will also learn how to make silly balloon animals with their instructor. On the last day, the kids will put on a class performance and get their face painted.

Our kid-friendly instructors provide a combination of personalized and group instruction to help overcome fears, teach important skills such as starting and stopping, and help them understand how to maneuver their bikes around obstacles. This may be the only lesson they will need! The fun, unique and proven instruction methods have helped hundreds of kids experience the joy of riding a bike.

This camp is a great way for students to enjoy learning about martial arts while getting some fun exercise. Martial Arts campers will enjoy a padded sword competition, learn techniques such as kicks and punches, learn the history of martial arts, and play fun games. Plus, campers will learn the basics of self-defense, break real boards, and watch excerpts from famous movies such as Kung Fu Panda, all in a safe, controlled environment.

This camp is designed for students to study the art of taekwondo in a positive learning environment that focuses on life skills, such as respect and self-control. Each student receives special instruction appropriate to their skill/knowledge level. New students begin by learning various techniques essential to the art of taekwondo. Ongoing students continue to work towards new goals and expand on their leadership experience. During the week, we work on many different taekwondo drills and activities, as well as learn about respect for self and others, teamwork, self-defense, and fitness! At the beginning of the week, all students earn a belt. Throughout the week, students receive "stripes" on that belt, signifying the completion of certain activities, providing a fun goal for kids to work on during camp. This camp is active fun for kids of all ages and experience levels with martial arts!

Daily superhero costumes are encouraged at this camp where caped crusaders will build a spider web and learn to climb through it, melt ice with laser vision, and strength train. That’s not all! Campers will shoot a rocket through a hoop, run at lightning speed, solve puzzles like Super Girl, karate chop a bad guy, and climb through a tunnel. By the end of camp you’ll be prepared to be a light in the universe.

Is your little ninja ready to learn kicks, break boards, learn forms, safely use weapons and have fun? This martial arts camp will teach the basics of taekwondo. They will learn some Korean, self-defense and play games. On Friday students have the opportunity to test their skills and progress from white belt to yellow belt. Kids who have taken this camp before can test to the next higher level.
